![]() Wednesday, March 28, 2007 A grateful heart! i feel compelled to post. it's been a good week. + Between a few things at the weekend we were able to lodge £2000 into the Kenya account at the weekend. Still about £7000 to go but very thankful for that bit less!! + Northern Ireland are rocking on the football front. How does Healy manage it? + Paisley and Adams got round that diamond shaped table. A good day for Northern Ireland i think. + Ballynahinch 1st's got promoted back into Division 2 and even have a game to spare.... + I have pretty much finished an essay tonight that is due for Friday. Very, very rare for me not to be sitting up to the early hours before hand in. + Old colesy came back into town and we enjoyed a delicious belly filling fry from Genesis this morning! + My bedroom is about 79% tidy (Think of how you would recieve an exam paper or essay with that percentage in order to get the positiveness of that figure!). + The clocks went forward and spring evening walks in daylight are possible again. Tonight i headed for a proper dander all around Murlough with ricey. The air was clear as could be bringing every shade of colour to life in the surroundings, there wasn't a drop of wind and the honest chats with a mate who you can let it all out with were great for the heart. posted by charlie | 9:34 PM | Thursday, March 08, 2007 Feasting in Holywood! I spent an hour or two at the Yard Gallery in Holywood last night and was provided with a feast for the senses! Visually we feasted on some of Emma Spence's latest work that was being launched in the gallery. Her unique 'mixed media' style of work, framed and hung around the gallery looked absolutely superb. It became even more impressive when she pointed out some of the stories behind her work. Alongside the exhibition the owner of the gallery was handing out Elderflower juice and chicken, bacon and cheese voulevants! Never one to turn free food away i tucked in and boy those voulevants were gorgeous ...a right few were swallowed up across the couple of hours we were there! Emma's work is showing for the next few weeks. I recommend you take a trip down and if the trendy coffee shop adjoining the gallery is open you might also get your lips around one of them voulevants! posted by charlie | 11:49 AM | |
